Join us for a movie matinee from 2:00 – 4:30 pm.  Each month we’ll enjoy a classic featuring a theme such as Hollywood couples, film noir, screwball comedies, famous last movies, seasonal gems, or Star of the Month. Light snacks and beverages will be served.  Registration is requested.  Movies take place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.  Snacks and beverages at 2:00 pm and the movie starts at 2:15 pm.

Just in time for Halloween, we’re watching, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947) starring Gene Tierney, Rex Harrison and a young Natalie Wood.  This romantic fantasy centers on a young widow who moves into a charming seaside cottage, only to discover that it is haunted by the ghost of its former owner, a gruff sea captain.  It’s a toss up on which is more beautiful – Tierney or the musical score, written by Polish composer, Bronisław Kaper.
