Join us for a movie matinee from 2:00 – 4:30 pm. Each month we’ll enjoy a classic featuring a theme such as Hollywood couples, film noir, screwball comedies, famous last movies, seasonal gems, or Star of the Month. Light snacks and beverages will be served. Registration is requested. Movies take place on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. Snacks and beverages at 2:00 pm and the movie starts at 2:15 pm.

The Lost Weekend (1945) was a groundbreaking drama about a struggling writer battling a severe alcohol addiction. It helped raise awareness about addiction at a time when it was rarely discussed openly. The film was nominated for 6 Academy Awards, winning 4, including one for its star, Ray Milland and the director, Billy Wilder.
