Join us for a movie matinee from 2:00 – 4:30 pm. Each month we’ll enjoy a classic featuring a theme such as Hollywood couples, film noir, screwball comedies, famous last movies, seasonal gems, or Star of the Month. Light snacks and beverages will be served. Registration is requested. Movies take place on the 2nd Monday of each month. Snacks and beverages at 2:00 pm and the movie starts at 2:15 pm.
August Movie: The kids are going back to the classroom and we’re watching The Corn Is Green (1945) starring Bette Davis as a spinster schoolteacher in a Welsh mining town. She is determined to open a school to teach and takes a special interest in a gifted young miner whom she hopes will get a scholarship to Oxford.
