The winner of six Academy Awards, A Place in the Sun, tells the story of factory worker who meets and falls in love with an heiress, but his future is jeopardized by a previous affair. The 1951 film stars Montgomery Clift, Elizabeth Taylor, and Shelley Winters. The movie was adapted from Theodore Dreiser's best seller "An American Tragedy."
