Event Details

Be sure to join us as we open our time capsule that was buried on June 20, 1975. Let us know you’re coming.  Please register below and watch our website and social media for more updates. We hope to see you there!    

11:00 – 11:15 am Welcome and introductions, scholarships announced and awarded, and brief comments from winners.  
11:15 – 11:45 am Time capsule unearthed
11:45 am – 1:00 pm Capsule opened and contents announced 
1:00 – 2:00 pm Dave Rudolph Trio Band (Live 70's Music)
1:00 – 3:00 pm Cha Cha's Kitchen and Super Taco Express #2 of Hillside (available for purchase)
2:00 – 3:00 pm Jesse White Tumblers
3:00 – 3:15 pm Raffle winners announced  
2:00 – 4:00 pm Rainbow Cone Truck (1 per person)
2:00 – 4:00 pm Balloon Artist by Awesome Balloon Creations

Please Note: The schedule of events is subject to change.  Giveaways and snacks will be distributed while supplies last.  

PARKING NOTE: Parking will be limited.  Hillside Avenue will be closed from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm from Madison Street up to the entrance to the Hillside Village Hall parking lot.  Parking will be available in the Village Hall/Library lot.  
You can access the lot from Irving and Warren Avenues coming south on Hillside Avenue.  You can also look for parking on nearby Butterfield, Madison, Irving, East End and walk over.  You may also consider carpooling, getting a ride, or walking over if you live nearby.
