Event Details

This session outlines the general financial aid process and provides insight on how financial aid works, how to apply for it, student eligibility, and how it can be used to help pay for college. It introduces the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid, along with summarizing state and federal aid programs among other topics. After the presentation, attendees will be able to create a StudentAid.gov account, while ISAC staff will be available to answer individual questions and troubleshoot any issues.
Attendees should bring in their own personal device (laptop, tablet, etc.) to be able to create an account during the StudentAid.gov Workshop portion.
